Description

The circular pendant decorated with a micro mosaic of the Christian symbol Chi-Rho within a bead and rope work border, Castellani maker's mark of two interlocking C's to the reverse; six stickpins; a black enamel mourning ring, engraved to the band; a blue enamel watch, engraved to the reverse, and other items (24).

Condition

- The Castellani pendant stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, some damage due to the hallmarking. Some mosaics missing, hair locket to the reverse. Measurements: approximately 3cm x 2,5cm, smaller than illustrated. - The acorn stickpin stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. The two monogram stickpins stamped 800 for silver. The micro-mosaic stickpins are below Dutch legal gold alloy. Some mosaics deficient, black ground chipped. The swallow stickpin is made of a base metal. - The black enamel mourning ring stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Engraved to the inside 11 May 1828. - The blue enamel watch stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Sotheby's can not guarantee the working condition of the watch. Engraved 14.5.51 to the reverse. - The harness pendant stamped 585 for 14 carat gold and 835 for silver. - The glass photo locket stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. - The green enamel seal stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Some wear to the enamel. - The pill box stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. The lid is loose from the box. - The cufflinks are partly below Dutch legal gold alloy and partly made of a base metal. - The locket with two miniatures stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. In poor condition, one side loose from the base. - The micro-mosaic pendant stamped 800 for silver, its necklace stamped 585 for 14 carat gold and 800 for silver. In poor condition, part of the micro-mosaics deficient. Hair locket to the reverse. - The cased miniature of a gentleman is made of a base metal. - The two tubes stamped 800 for silver. Tarnished. - The canon ball pendant is made of a base metal and stamped 585 for 14 carat gold to the surmount. - The bullet pendant is made of a base metal and stamped 585 for 14 carat gold to the surmount. - The heart-shaped pendant is below Dutch legal gold alloy. Some turquoise deficient. - The gun pendant stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Some tarnish.
