Description

  • length barrel 34.4cm.
the rounded, smooth bore barrels chased with acanthus and engraved with foliage near the tang, the lockplates engraved en suite, one struck on the inside with the initials IPM, the other VB above eight pointed star, full length walnut stocks carved around the tang and the underside with Rococo scrolls, the mounts of very fine quality, gilt brass cast and chased with satyr's heads and trophies of war, the trigger guard with an Ottoman crescent

Condition

Overall in very good and barely used condition, however steel butts oxidised, rubbing to the gilding.
