Description

  • height 15.1 to 16.5cm.
the moulded body decorated with alternating panels featuring ladies and flowering peonies, the covers each decorated with flower sprays, the base of one jar with the character yu (jade); together with a silver-mounted teacaddy decorated with figures, the mount later

Condition

Both jugs with imperfections and repairs, one with cracks all along both connections of the handle to the body, the lower crack repaired and overpainted, and a large shallow chip to the spout; the other with a crack along the connection of the handle to the body; both with repaired chip to the cover; both with cover loose and partly broken out of the silver mount; The tea caddy in overall good condition but with small scratches and minor pits to the glaze.
