Description

  • height 93.5cm.
carved in three quarter relief, wearing a head band, Her long hair falling in elegant locks over Her shoulders, supporting the Child with both hands on Her stomach, traces of polychrome, Her head re-attached, the head of the Child replaced

Condition

Fair condition, the cross on top of the orb in Christ hand missing, head of the virgin has been broken and reattached, the child's head most probably replaced, surface overall with some weathering and wear, traces of old polychrome, usual ageing.
