the hinged lid and sides enforced with straps of iron, painted black, the front with two hasps and false keyhole, the keyhole cover on the lid concealed by a spring loaded, stylised acorn

Condition

Rather good condition, handle re-attached (solded) to the body, some wear especially at the armorial medaillon, some minor denting nice patination, rare and recommandeble piece
