Marks poorly struck to rim of base but readable, stem unstable, dents and scratches, paten with dents at rim and scratches

Perhaps the chalice and paten were donated by Lord Chamberlain von Löw to the Schlosskirche after the French occupation. The French did not give back most of the church silver.

The Chalice and paten are mentioned in the inventory of 1880, entitled:
