Description

  • 78cm. high, 97cm. wide, 50cm. deep.
with a greenish-grey and brown mottled marble top, probably Saxony, profusely carved and pierced with rocaille

Condition

Restored with imperfections and retouches to the gilding. One construction partly replaced and reinforced, restorations to the corners and stretcher, part of frieze to right hand side re-stuck, (later) finial loose but still there; the other reinforced at the front joints, restorations to stretcher. Both with old traces of woodworm. Otherwise in good condition considering age and pair.
