Catalogue Note
This large oil painting shows Orlando's family seated in a box at the opera. Orlando is sitting cross-legged and is wearing a shirt-front and bow-tie. He is smoking a fish-shaped cigar. Grace is suitably attired, complete with a huge fan of feathers. The kittens, Tinkle, Blanche and Pansy are in various states of distress.
