The limitation note reads: "Five hand-illustrated copies of this poem were printed: one ou [corrected to "on"] gray, number alpha; one on yellow paper, numbered beta, one on cream paper, numbered gamma, one on green paper, numbered delta, and one on scarlet paper, number epsilon, This in [corrected to "is"] "Corrected proofs with color plan for illustration".
Prokosch had originally given the false imprint "Printed in Salzburg by Hermann Krauss in February, 1936".
"Lullaby" was first printed in The New Keepsake 1931 (Wade 320) and reprinted in Words for Music Perhaps 1932 (Wade 168).
