Description

  • A Canaanite Copper Figure of a Man or God
  • Height 8 in. 20.3 cm.
of highly attenuated form, standing with arms extended on a high pedestal resting on a domed base, his hands holding now missing implements, and wearing armlets, his face with prominent lips, triangular nose, inlaid eyes with recessed pupils, and large double-pierced ears, his head surmounted by a high convex and knobbed protrusion and a semicircular knobbed diadem.
