  • An Encaustic Mummy Portrait of a Girl
  • 11 by 8 1/4 in. 27.9 by 20.9 cm.
painted on wood, her head turned to her right, and wearing a pink chiton with black clavi, necklace of blue and gold or pearl beads, and pendant earring of three beads, her round face with large wide-set eyes and wavy black hair parted in the center.
