  • An Apulian Red-figured Kantharos
  • Height 10 3/4 in. 27.3 cm.
with stepped foot and high concave handles, one side decorated with Eros seated on a rocky outcrop and holding a swan and mirror, and wearing pearl jewelry and sakkos, the other with a seated youth holding a situla, patera, and bunch of grapes; details in added white and yellow.
