The body and arm lacquered black with gilt edging, the fluted column headed by gilt gesso Grecian terms and a later gilded eagle above, later pine table, forty three strings, seven pedals
Condition
The instrument has been restored to playing order in the not too distant past. The eagle has been added from another object. This could have been done at any time although the eagle looks second half the 19th century
