7 volumes, folio (305 x 190mm.), title-page of each volume with woodcut border depicting Luther and the Elector of Saxony adoring the Passion, the symbols of the four Evangelists and cherubim, woodcut historiated initials, later vellum, volumes 1, 3, 4 and 5 lacking final blank, many leaves in volume 3 browned, slight worming to most volumes, bindings worn and repaired
