Chancery folio (274 x 203mm.), 156 leaves (of 162), double column, 38 lines and headline, Gothic letter, initial spaces, a few with printed guide-letters, late eighteenth-century blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, several contemporary manuscript notes on initial blank leaf and in a few margins, lacking 6 leaves (c7-8, d1-3 & v8, the last blank), some soiling, mostly at the beginning, old rebacking, lower board heavily wormed
