Catalogue Note

first edition. Bolzano (1781-1848), Roman Catholic priest and professor of the philosophy of religion at the university of Prague, was a critic of Kant’s philosophy of mathematics, and rather a follower of the rationalism of Leibniz. Wissenschaftslehre, his opus magnum, makes contributions to the fields of logic and semantics.
