Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the blues in the bottom right hand corner and centre top left tend more towards lavender, the darker blue tends more towards a bright navy and the orange tends more towards a luminous tangerine in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very minor wear to the top left and right corner tips. There are two tiny areas of paint loss; one to the centre right of the lower left quadrant and one the right of the dead centre of the composition. There is a very faint rub mark on the extreme left edge in the centre of the lower left quadrant, visible upon very close inspection. There is a very faint 10cm. line of wear to the paint as a result of very light impact in the centre right of the lower left quadrant. There are two media accretions towards the lower left and right of the lower left quadrant. There are several tiny media accretions; four towards the top left corner and several towards the lower right edge of the upper right quadrant. There is a tiny water mark toward the upper right edge of the lower right quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
