Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is minor wear along the right and bottom edges in places with tiny spots of associated paint loss. There are two areas of flyspots; one in the centre left of the upper right quadrant and one at the centre top of the bottom right quadrant. There are very faint rub marks notably in the yellow areas of the composition and a further horizontal rub mark towards the lower right corner. There are tiny media accretions scattered throughout the painting. There is an extremely faint scractch approximately 3cm. long towards the right edge of the lower right quadrant. There are three pin head-sized white media accretions; one in the top left quadrant at the top edge, one towards the upper right corner tip and one towards the right edge of the lower right quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
