Colours: (i) The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background tends more towards a luminous pink and the red hues tend much more towards orange. The overall tonality is softer in the original.

Condition: (i) This work is in good condition. There are faint rub marks in all four corners. There are several surface scratches in places in the top quarter of the composition, most notably towards the top left hand corner. There is a horizontal rub mark towards the bottom left hand corner.
