Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background tends more towards a pale taupe and the green is much brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is minor wear to all four corner tips and in places along all four extreme edges. There is canvas draw along the left and right edges. There are faint rub marks towards all four corners and in places along the top edge. There are four very small patches of paint loss towards the top centre of the composition and four further tiny spots of paint loss towards the bottom centre. There is very faint cracking to the paint along the extreme edges, visible only under close inspection. There are a few light horizontal indentations in the bottom centre half of the composition. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
