Condition

Colours: (i) The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly more vibrant. Condition: (i) This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper and securely attached to the backing board in several places on the reverse. There are artist's pin holes in all four extreme corner tips. There is a fine superficial layer of dust adhering to the surface beneath the glass. (ii) This work is in very good condition. Executed on white laid paper with deckled left and right edges. The work is securely attached to the backing board in several places on the reverse. There is minor wear to the top left and bottom corner tips. There are several tiny artist's pin holes in the top left and right corners and one minute pinhole towards the bottom right corner. There is a small spot of discolouration towards the lower left corner along the bottom edge.
