Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the colours are much more intense in the original: The left hand panel tends more towards a candy pink; the silver foil is shiny and highly reflective and the central purple panel is richer and warmer in tonality. The green area is more of a luminous acid green. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are very faint handling marks and rub marks along the silver strip. There is a very small spot of paint loss on the overlap, to the right of the deep purple strip. There is a very faint rub mark at the extreme upper right hand corner and two further extremely faint rub marks on the overlap at the lower left and right hand corners. There are three extremely faint compressions to the centre of the central pink strip, only visible under a raking light.
