Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the red in the figures dress tends more towards coral in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Attached in places on the reverse to the backboard, held under plexiglass and unexamined out of frame. There are undulation and creases throughout the composition intrinsic to the artist's working process. There are artist's pin holes to all four corner tips and at the centre of all four edges. There are further smaller pin holes particularly to the top left and right hand corners. There are three hairline tears to the centre of the top extreme edge visible upon close inspection. There are drying marks throughout, inherent to the artist's working process. There is slight discolouration to the fabric in the top left corner.
