Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is far brighter and much richer in the original. The background is a very pale green in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corners and along all four edges in places. There is a tiny spec of paint loss towards the centre right extreme edge. There are two rub marks in the the dead centre of the composition and a further small rub mark in the top right of the upper left hand quadrant. There is a pin-head sized indentation towards the very top left hand corner. There are several tiny media accretions towards the top right hand corner. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
