Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are handling marks to the centre of the left and right hand extreme edges and further marks to the centre of the top edge. There are several faint drip marks to the sky of the image, probably intrinsic to production. There is a hairline scratch to the centre right of the lower edge visible only upon close inspection. There is a faint thumb mark to the white patch of the composition in the centre left of the lower left hand quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
