Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in good condition. Executed on two sheets of white laid paper attached together with tape across the centre of the composition. The left and right hand edges are deckled and the two sheets are securely hinged to the backing board on the reverse in several places. There are artist's pin holes in all four corners. There are several faint rub marks and handling marks in places towards the top quarter of the sheet. There is a further handling mark below the figuer's left eye and a few other handling marks in places along the left and right edges.
