Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality in the original is much warmer with rich brown highlights in the figure's hair. The skin tone tends more towards a warm cream with hints of pink and pale salmon and the shadow on the figure's face has more brown undertones in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are faint stretcher marks in places along the top extreme edge and towards the extreme left edge in the top left hand corner. There is very minor wear at the bottom left extreme corner tip. There is a faint rub mark at the centre top edge of the upper right quadrant. There is a tiny media accretion to the left of the figure's lower lip and a further coloured media accretion to the left of the figure's right eye.
