Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the blue is much brighter in the original and the overall tonality is more vibrant. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a curved crack appoximately 6cm. long to the extreme top right hand corner and a further crack approximately 3cm. long to the right of this. There is small rub mark towards the extreme the lower right edge. There is a tiny loss of astralon at the extreme lower edge of the number 16 square. There are a few hairline scatches; to the left of number 4, and through the centre of number 15. There are a few small horizontal rub marks in the lower right corner of the number 8 square. There are several further rub marks in places throughout the work. All scratches and rub marks are visible upon very close inspection.
