Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and there is greater contrast in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. Executed on cream wove paper and securely attached to the backing boad in several places. There are artist's pin holes in places along all four edges. The left edge of the sheet is slightly deckled. There is undulation to the sheet throughout, notably to the left and right edges. There are several handling marks intermittently along all four edges, probably inherant to the artist's working process. There are three tiny brown media accretions; one towards the left of the top edge, one towards the centre of the top edge and one towards the centre of the bottom edge. There is a vertical crease approximately 26cm long in the upper left quadrant, possibly inherent to the artist's working process.
