Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the pink of the two flowers on the right hand side of the composition tends more towards luminous pink, and the the flowers on the left hand side tend more towards a deep dusty pink. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are extremely fine lines of craquelure along all four edges, notably along the bottom extreme edge. There is a tiny media accretion towards the bottom right corner and a spec of paint loss to the top extreme edge towards the left corner. All of the aforementioned are visible in the catalogue illustration. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
