Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. The blue adjacent to the cat's eyes tends more towards a sky blue.
Condition: This work is in good condition. There is wear to all four corner tips with associated paint loss. There are several rub marks in the lower right quadrant visible in the catalogue illustration. There are further rub marks at the top of the right extreme edge. There are two further rub marks towards the top of the upper left quadrant and a white rub mark in the centre towards the bottom edge, also visible in the catalogue illustration. There is a tiny white media accretion towards the top left corner tip. There are very fine cracks along the bottom turnover edge in places.
