Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the green tends more towards a luminous apple green in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corner tips with associated paint loss. There is a tiny loss of paint in the centre of the bottom turnover edge. There are very fine hairline cracks along the extreme bottom edge and on the lower left and right turnover edges. There are additional tiny hairline cracks intermittently along the extreme top edge. There is a very faint rub mark in the lower centre of the lower left quadrant. There are several very faint water marks towards the bottom of the lower right quadrant, visible in the catalogue illustration. There is a very faint rub mark to the centre of the left hand edge and an extremely faint handling mark at the centre of the right hand edge. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
