Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and brighter in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition; executed on white wove paper and securely hinged to the backing board on the reverse. The bottom and top edges of the sheet are deckled. The sheet is slightly undulated, notably to the right half of the composition. There are a few fine creases to the composition: one towards the centre of the upper left quadrant, another two scattered along the bottom edge and three very faint creases in along the right edge of the sheet. There are four very faint tears, one at the bottom and one at the top extreme towards the top and bottom left hand corner, another one at the bottom extreme towards the right hand corner and another one at the right extreme towards the top right hand corner.
