Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much brighter and more vibrant, with the background tending more towards navy blue.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are scattered splash marks along the lower edge of the composition, which can be easily cleaned by a professional restorer. There are two small white specks: one towards the lower right corner and another 30cm to the right of the chair. There is wear to the lower right corner tip and in places along the outer edges. There is a faint 6cm diagonal rub mark below the chair, 50cm up from the bottom edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
