Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original work which has subtle blue and geen hues that are not apparent in the catalogue. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The canvas is quite slack overall, notably along the right edge of the canvas. There is very wear in several places along the top and bottom extreme edges of the canvas. There are three very minor indentations: one approximately 7cm below the centre of the upper right quadrant; one approximately 4cm to the left of this, and one towards the centre of the top edge of the composition. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
