Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant with the red tending more towards orange in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. The canvas is quite slack overall. there is very minor wear to the lower right corner. There is a small spot of paint loss to the right outer edge of the composition at the figure's eye level. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
