Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original. Condition: (i)-(iii) This work is in very good condition. There is wear, handling marks and cracks along some of the edges of the frames. Each photograh is hinged to a backing board in several places on the reverse. There is light undulation to the images, predominantly to the edges, and some of the corners curve slightly. There is light discolouration throughout and the images have faded slightly. (i) There are a few light handling creases in places along the top of the image and one to the bottom left and top right corner. There is one rub mark towards the bottom right hand corner of the image. (ii) There is a very small tear to the bottom left hand corner and a peice of repair tape over it. There are three minute spots of paper skinning in the upper right hand quadrant. (iii) There is a minute spot of paper lifting to the extreme bottom left hand corner and one towards the lower centre of the right edge. There are a few media stains towards the centre of the right hand edge and a transparant media accretion to the top right corner.
