Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear to all four extreme corners and in places along the extreme turnover edges of the canvas. There is a minute media accretion at the top left of the lower left quadrant and a further tiny dark media accretion to the centre left of the lower left quadrant. There is a minute loss of paint in the centre of the top right quadrant. All of the above is only visible upon very close inspection and there is no restoration apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
