Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original work where the inside background colour tends more towards mauve.
Condition: This work is in very good original condition. There are a few faint handling marks at the rim of the dish and there is a layer of superficial dust overall. There are several stable firing cracks to the leaves inside the bowl and two further cracks to the bowl itself: one to the base and one behind one at the rim behind a leaf. These are original to the work's execution and inherent to the artist's choice of medium.
