Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and warmer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to accurately convey the texture and detail of the original work.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are isolated small matrices of very fine drying craquelure and light surface scratches in places throughout the composition. There are some faint handling marks along the left edge of the composition. There is a horizontal rub mark to the extreme lower left hand corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
