Catalogue Note
"The globe represented for me the world we live in, the human condition, places where we might journey to on earth, and places where we might journey to after our life on earth. I researched various mythological names for heaven and hell. They were either placed on the globe where the myths originated or names without specific origins were placed intuitively... Happy Hunting Grounds was not given an origin to my knowledge however it seems typically American so I placed it over the United States.'' - Annette Lemieux (from a letter to Barbara Jacobson dated August 5, 1988 describing the present work)
