Condition

This work is in very good condition. There are a few scattered light marks on the surface of Shimon's base. There is a spot accretion on the back left shoulder of 'Max' and on the front left sleeve just above the hand, which is faintly visible in the catalogue illustration. The figure of 'Max' breaks down into five components. At the connecting points of these components, there is evidence of wear, light scratches and a few spot losses which are not visible when the figure is assembled and is to be expected. There is light paint bubbling and a few scattered marks at the top of 'Max's' head, presumably inherent to the manufacturing process of the sculpture.
