This work is in good condition overall. The paper has yellowed with age and exhibits scattered foxing concentrated at the edges. The paper is mounted to canvas and the edges are taped (extending approximately ¼ in. onto the face of the work. There are several hard creases to the paper, presumably related to the mounting of the sheet, the largest of which is located about 1 ½ in. from the bottom edge, just off center from the left edge, extending 3 inches. Under ultra-violet inspection, several scattered areas of in-painting fluoresce, the largest of which measures 1 ½ in. in length and is located in the upper left corner just above the green brushstroke. The two areas of white pigment along the top edge also fluoresce as do scattered spots along the lower right edge and in the top left and bottom left quadrants. Framed in white wood.
