Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The collage lies flat on the canvas and the extreme edges of the sheet are taped down at the borders. The sheet shows are scattered areas of minor foxing and discoloration, presumably due to the aging of the glue adhesive. There is a light evidence of soiling at the corners. Framed under Plexiglas. There is a Sydney Janis Gallery and David McKee Gallery labels affixed to the stretcher on the reverse. Kindly note that the correct medium of this work is oil, ink and gouache on paper collage mounted on canvas and that the reverse of the canvas is inscribed ZP 56 Please note the correct provenance for this work: Sidney Janis Gallery, New York Marlborough-Gerson Gallery Inc., New York David McKee Gallery, New York Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Singer Jr., Mamaroneck, New York The Pace Gallery, New York Marisa del Re Gallery, New York Acquired by the present owner from the above in 1986
