Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration.
Condition: This work is in good condition. There is minor wear to the tips of all four corners and in places along all four outer edges. There is a faint stretcher mark to the top edge in the upper left quadrant and the canvas is slightly slack. There is a faint media accretion to the bottom edge of the composition towards the lower right corner. There are matrices of fine craquelure in places throughout the canvas, predominately to the yellow, black and blue paint and in the lower right hand quadrant between the blue paint and the figure's hand. There is a tiny speck of paint loss to the centre right of the bottom edge. When examined under ultra-violet light there is no evidence of retouching.
