Catalogue Note

'Through a natural drying process, the albumen and yolk inside the eggshell shrink to a compact lump that loosens itself from inside of the shell and shifts the egg's centre of gravity into the egg's point. Unmanipulated by any outside influences, the egg's condition is the result of the process of drying itself. The Egg can be read as a character written in italic script.' (Karin Sander)
