Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the orange in the upper right corner tends more towards bright orange-red and the green in the top left corner more to bright forest green in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the tonal variation to the yellows and the textural variation throughout in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some slight canvas draw to the upper left corner. There is a tiny pinhead-sized paint losses to the peak of impasto towards the centre of the left extreme edge. There are a few further miniscule pinprick-sized specks of paint loss in places to the left extreme edge. A few very small and isolated matrices of fine and stable craquelure are visible upon close examination. An extremely fine and stable horizontal hairline crack is visible upon close inspection to the lower part of the lower left quadrant. There is no apparent restoration under ultraviolet light.
