Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. The blue paint throughout tends more towards electric blue, the green on the right side more to bright grass-green and the red on the left side more to cherry-red in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. Executed on thick wove paper, it is securely hinged to the mount at the upper left and right corners. The sheet is very slightly undulated due to the weight of the surface media. There are artist's pinholes to all four corners. Upon very close examination there is an extremely light and unobtrusive narrow intermittent line of time-staining to the unpainted sections of the left extreme edge.
