Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tone in the original is slightly warmer, tending more towards biscuit-beige in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition and is securely hinged to the mount at the top two corners. The sheet is very slightly time-stained, in particular to the very extreme edges where there are extremely narrow margins of pale discolouration. There are a few scattered pale spots of discolouration around the composition, notably to the lower right quadrant. There are a few extremely small and unobtrusive spots of light cracking to the paint surface at the figure's legs.
