Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accuarate in the catalogue illustration, althgouh the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. The paper tone is slightly warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The paper is very slightly time-stained. There are artist's pinholes and faint creasing to all four corners, possibly from previous taping. There are a number of very light horizontal creases to the left side of the work and a very short tear to the lower part of the right extreme edge. The upper extreme edge is slightly discoloured and there is some surface dirt to the left edge, below the centre point. A few isolated pinhead-sized media accretions and specks of discolouration are visible upon close examination in places. There is a very small pale foxmark to the right of the centre of the composition. In raking light there are a few very light rubmarks to the plexiglass frame.
